Storytime with Uncle Rob began on one of his visits to see his nephews. He took Star Wars and Marvel action figures and told the boys fun stories… complete with sound effects, action, and voiceovers. Storytime would continue for years with countless Facetime calls.
Liam and Logan didn’t let Rob get away with anything, with their hawk eyes for detail. So, he was forced to create stories that logically added up, didn’t have holes, and stayed true to the characters.
After Rob’s mom passed away in 2021, he would meditate daily. During one of his meditations, a story idea came through. It would allow him to draw from the sum of his life and create books of life skills for children. The star would be none other than the family cat. Poopie’s book series was born!
Another one of Rob’s passions is teaching. He honed his teaching skills with 15 years teaching martial arts to adults, children, and adults with autism. He extended his teaching into kundalini yoga and continues to study the mind, body, and spirit. Rob is known for breaking down the fundamentals and bringing the best out of his students.
He loves a good story! Rob has fond memories of his mom telling stories to him and his brother. She always found ways to elicit his imagination. Now Rob incorporates stories and imagination into his teachings, claiming that tapping into the imagination while teaching exponentially increases the ability to learn.
Rob’s style of teaching is gentle yet motivating and will also push to unlock the student’s potential. Rob’s goal is to deliver foundational life skills and empower youth to consciously create their own future while keeping enjoyment and attention at the forefront.
This book is just the beginning of many books and stories to come.
I’m an Italian artist born in 1999. I was interested in drawing since I was a kid, but only in high school I understood it could be something “more” instead of an hobby or just a passion, and thought about it as a possible future job for me. I honestly don’t see myself outside the world doing a “normal” job like everyone since I don’t think I would fit at all haha so if I wouldn’t have drawing, I would be just a lost soul.
My biggest inspirations were all kind of shows, from movies to anime (anime in particular helped me a lot developing my drawing interest). I’m also a big fan of videogames as well.
I love animals, I own 2 cats too 🐱 🐱
I’m a pretty solitaire and introvert person and I tend to overthink too much. I still appreciate the company of friends tho.
My goal with my drawings is to make people smile and make them “escape” for a moment when looking at my art. I honestly think the world is quite messed up (mostly nowadays), but I know there’s always that spark which heartens us when needed, showing we’re not just trash. I want to be one of those sparks trying to remind people the beauty of living and be kind to each other.
I started to draw because I wanted to show my stories and being able to express what I had in mind using drawings.
